The Power of Your Subconscious
Over 95% of your brain’s processing happens in the subconscious—outside of your conscious awareness or control. This is where automatic responses, habits, and survival-based wiring live.
Fear, stress, gut-brain connections, and functional neurological conditions are all shaped and, at times, dysfunctionally wired by experience—without your permission.
You can’t simply “think your way out” of a phobia, chronic stress, or IBS. These patterns are deeply wired into your nervous system.
Clinical hypnotherapy is your way to rewire your brain the way you choose, breaking automatic overwhelming reactions, drives, and habits.
By accessing the subconscious directly, you can update old, automatic responses and create healthier pathways for calm, focus, and well-being.
What Can Hypnosis Help With?
Phobias & Panic
Phobias are deeply learned fear responses. Hypnosis allows you to safely desensitize and rewire your reaction to triggers—such as heights, flying, driving, or public spaces—so you can respond with calm and neutrality. Panic attacks and anticipatory anxiety are also addressed by calming the underlying automatic fear circuitry.
Pain Management
Pain is both a sensory and an emotional experience, and chronic pain is often maintained by subconscious patterns. Hypnosis can help you change your perception of pain, reduce suffering, and regain control over your body’s responses.
FND & Neurological Reset
Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is often a “software” glitch in the brain’s communication with the body. Hypnosis helps you calm the overactive nervous system and rewire brain-body connections, reducing symptoms like tremors, non-epileptic seizures, or paralysis.
IBS & Brain-Gut Issues
The gut is sometimes called your “second brain.” For IBS and other brain-gut conditions, hypnosis is an evidence-based gold standard. By calming the misfiring signals between your brain and digestive system, you can restore comfort and function.
Anger & Emotional Regulation
Anger is an automatic, survival-based reaction. Hypnotherapy helps widen the gap between trigger and response, allowing you to regain control, reduce outbursts, and restore peace.
Smoking Cessation & Weight Management
Habits like smoking or overeating are maintained by subconscious loops. With hypnosis, we go beyond willpower—rewiring your internal narrative and identity so lasting change becomes natural and sustainable.
Psychic & Extraordinary Experiences
If you’ve had psychic, anomalous, or extraordinary experiences, hypnosis offers a safe, clinical space to process and integrate these events—without judgment or sensationalism.
What to Expect
Hypnosis is not sleep, and you are always in control. It is a state of deep relaxation and focused attention, where the subconscious mind becomes more receptive to positive change.
- Assessment: We clarify the specific loop, reaction, or habit you want to change.
- Induction: A gentle, guided process to quiet the conscious mind and access the subconscious.
- Suggestion & Rewiring: Using targeted language and imagery, we help your mind form new, healthy pathways and responses.
- Integration: We anchor these changes so you can apply them in daily life, building long-term resilience and self-mastery.
FAQ – Hypnotherapy
Am I Hypnotizable?
Almost everyone can be hypnotized unless they actively fight the process. If you have ever jumped or cried during a movie, you were mesmerized—fully absorbed in the experience. If you have ever driven somewhere and not remembered the drive, you have already experienced a natural state of hypnosis.
About 2% of people are rapid induction somnambulists (highly hypnotizable in a single session). Roughly one-third reach therapeutic depth in their first session, and another one-third achieve it by the third session. The remaining clients may not enter a deep trance but consistently benefit from the relaxation, focused attention, and visualization techniques, which are enough to change emotions and automatic responses.
Is hypnosis safe?
Yes. You remain aware and in control at all times. Hypnosis cannot make you do anything against your will; it is simply a tool for focused brain rewiring.
How many sessions will I need?
Most clients experience meaningful change within 2 to 6 sessions, depending on the issue. Some habits or conditions may require ongoing reinforcement for lasting results.
Is hypnotherapy evidence-based?
Yes. Clinical hypnosis is supported by decades of research for conditions like IBS, phobias, pain, and habit change. It is recognized by the American Psychological Association as a valid therapeutic tool.
Will I lose control or reveal secrets?
No. You will not lose control or say anything you do not wish to share. You are always capable of stopping the session at any time.
Experience & Compassion
I am a licensed psychologist with advanced training in clinical hypnosis and neuropsychology. For a year and a half, I conducted group hypnosis sessions twice a week for 30–50 newly abstinent substance abusers of all ages. This experience taught me that everyone is hypnotizable if approached the right way and demonstrated the power of hypnosis to create dramatic, positive change—even in those facing significant life challenges.
Since that time, I have helped hundreds of clients rewire deeply ingrained patterns—whether they stem from trauma, neurological conditions, pain, or lifelong habits—using a blend of evidence-based approaches and lived compassion.
